iOS WebView extension beta

Hi all - sorry, I've had no time to add more features to WebView, and it looks like that's not going to change in the near future (swamped by other projects and work) - I've not even been able to work on the simple MMF iOS app that was my whole reason for making WebView in the first place!

The good news is FVivolo has worked on a web object for Windows (for both MMF standard and developer) that has more features than this extension, and with the idea of making it friendly for iOS-porting, so hopefully some other iOS developer might be able to pick up on that long before I can return to WebView.

Im using it at the first screen of Plasmatron to load a cross promo ad of my own games! Thanks for this jjsonick

Hey I'm using the extension to play MP3's

Would it be possible to add multitasking support?
That way if I minimize the app or put the phone to sleep it'll still play?

how would i go about displaying youtube videos in my app?

Maybe the iOS Video object will play them, if you get the URL to the .FLV file?

Don't have it without the dev version..

I got youtube videos working easily enough. Just grab the embed code for videos and it displays fine.

Did you manage to have Youtube videos auto-play? Or does it require the user to touch the player for the video to start playing?
I'm looking for a way to simulate a touch on the Webview object so that the embedded Youtube player thinks the user touched it and it starts playing the video automatically...

Can you think of a way to simulate a touch somewhere on a Webview object please? To help us trick the web page displayed and make it think the user clicked on a link or button...

No i think it still required the user to press the play button. I didn't look too much into auto play though, but i dont think it will (for youtube at least).
