Ok,.I'm very new to using Shaders......Well, I never used one before! So,.with that said,.how are they used,where are they installed too and how do you use/get to them in MMF? Any example mfa's available so I can see some of the effects with different Shaders used?

John, shader effects are compatible with the HWA version of MMF2 which can be downloaded from the site and the forums. You can apply the shader to individual actives/backdrops, layers and complete frames. You can locate the shaders in "\Multimedia Fusion Developer 2\Effects" folder. Looki has some shader packs for you to use (unsure of the link).
You can apply any shader effect to active/backdrop/layer/frame by selecting the mentioned entity and clicking the 'Effect' option in the active/frame/layer/backdrops properties inside MMF2.
Thanks guys! I did a search for HWA and can't seem to locate the download link. Is this a different program all together from MMF and does it cost anything to download it?

BTW,.I don't see an effects folder in the MMF directory to place the shaders,.or do I need the above first??

A better idea would be using the build 253 update where HWA is merged with the older version of the product.
Its no longer a separate executable
Change your application runtime options - display options to Direct 3D 9 or Direct 3D 8
Then on your objects Display Options Effects the shaders will be active.
