Can you upload the mfa?
I put the file here. http://www.4shared.com/file/dtpb-J0W/joysticktest.html
I can confirm the joystick does not show up. If you change the start of frame event to a button press, the app crashes at the start.
Let me know if you need the log Jamie.
I have the same problem with my MFA. Nothing appears regardless of selecting Touch Joystick or using the Joystick Control object.
UPDATE: I even tried switching to Accelerometer control, and found something very strange. The game was almost unresponsive until I did something that made the game character move to the left slightly. I tried tilting the Tab around for minutes but I could not get another piece of movement out of the cat.
Here's the mfa: http://www.mitologia.hu/android/chir...a_accelero.mfa
And the full log:http://www.mitologia.hu/android/chir...celero_log.txt (the movement happened somewhat early in the testing process, and later I tilted the device everywhere I could and also pushed the screen a lot to see what would do anything -- nothing did)
The joystick don't appears here, but I can control if I touch in area where the joystick should be.
In this beta, I can touch Fire Button 1, for example, while I'm touching the diretional joystick. In previous betas, I could not do this.
Not for me, I can touch anywhere and nothing happens.
AdamDobay,
Are you using Fire Button 1 and 2? If I choose the 1 and 2, nothing happens too. :/
I found the same issue with the joystick not showing. If you drag with your finger in the bottom left it will work but only if you drag the invisible joystick, not if you just tap. I couldn't get the accelerometer to work as a joystick either.
Ls2: no, at this time I'm using just the arrow keys.
AdamDobay,
Hm... Can you make a test? Use too the Fire Button 1 (The 1, only).
Problem is, I don't even know where it should be on the screen. :)
