Beta 9: List Object appears to be broken on device

No, you can specify in XCode, on waht base OS your application works. So you can perfectly make applications for iOS 4.
But your Mac will have to have OS X Lion, and your XCode be the last version to compile an app.
Understand that it is Apple's policy to have everyone use the latest system and sdk. We have waited as long as we could, but now we really must upgrade.
