MMF2 key press blues
While holding the left arrow key, MMF2 will only register holding shift OR control, but not all three at the same time.
Left + shift is possible
Left + control is possible
But, Left + shift + control is NOT possible.
This is strange because it works with any other arrow key. Just not the left. Anybody found a work around?
I can't use the Control X object or any other extension....

Is this unique to MMF, or does it happen with everything? (Set controls to left, shift and control in any game, and see if they react). Some keyboards can't send signals of certain combinations of more than two keys at a time.

If nothing works, it's probably a Windows issue.

It is unique to MMF2. Using the Control X extension, you can detect all 3 key presses simultaneously. Using MMF2, you can't.

It's a windows/keyboard issue. Notice that most games where you hold shift have you holding the S key to move left instead of the arrow key. No clue as to why this is but I've run into this problem in the past also. It's definitely not just an MMF2 issue.
edit: I guess I take that back. Though I could have swore that this was a problem in other games as well.

I'm finding it very hard to believe it's specific to MMF2, as it's an extremely common hardware issue.
On my netbook for example, if I run your file, it won't detect more than 3 arrow keys being pressed at once and won't detect up+down+right - but the combination that doesn't work for you (left+shift+ctrl) works fine for me. I'm sure if you had a good gaming keyboard, there'd be no problem at all.

I see, that's very interesting. However, using the Control X object to detect the key presses it does work for me....

Ctrl+Alt+Del? if you couldn't press more than two, how would you press this?
-
For me, MMF2 can detect 8 different key presses at once, most likely more, I didn't bother to test. It just can't detect Left + Shift + Control. Which is strange because Shift and Control can be pressed with every other arrow key...
Also just tried it in Left 4 Dead 2 and Left + Shift + Control works.... I guess I'll just have to live with it.

I have no problem with using Ctrl + Shift + Left. I think it's your computer.
