I know it's been like forever but I've finally had a chance to get together a public beta.

Question - does this need to pair with a bluetooth device at the start of the app, or can it receive from a device already paired to the system via the settings menu (i.e. bluetooth keyboards)?

I really want a bluetooth keyboard
Well, I'm gonna grab myself an iCade Mobile soon, so I can test with that...
I do have a bluetooth keyboard (I use a recent model of iMac) but for some reason I can't get it to pair with iPad, it just keeps re-pairing with my Mac.
Turn off your mac or remove it from it's pairing devices. Anyway I should upload updated version of Crazy_Ivan example later on.
Just were fighting with some issues in code. Just last three things are left to be added and I will publish my example.
Once the example is up I will try to get this running with iCade and put up an example if I manage it. As long as this can receive data from an already paired device such as bluetooth keyboard etc. it should be possible.

- All the same like original example
- Everything is commented (blue comments are my add-ons)
- Separate frame for user name
- Different layout
- Timestamps
- Nicknames (can be changed in real time by system commands)
- System commands (/NICK New Nickname /PC Peer Count /SYSTEM is only system used ATM)
- Verification if MSG was reliable or unreliable
- Automatic system detection if communication is reliable or unreliable
- System confirmations on received MSGs
Additional extensions used:
Date & Time
System can be better modified by:
Sending shorter MSGes and adding rest on user site
Precise commands (like I did with System)
Different nickname holding.
Not tested with more than 2 devices.
Issues:
If I connect iPad 2 to iPhone 4 it got almost 100% success in no time from iPhone 4 to iPad 2 it takes ages.
It is possible that application will hang on 'accept user popup' after pressing accept.
Wait a second. Does this allow bluetooth keyboard input!?!?
If you pair BT keyboard with debice you don't need this extension.
Ah but you do, unless using the edit box you can't read keystrokes ;)

Does this extension allow keyboard input into iPad? Anybody tested it for that yet?
