I'm working on a more advanced version.
If anyone would like to make a more advanced version and post it, that would be great!!!
My new version is going to have:
- Better movement and animation mixing
- Better Mode 7 EX Graphic looks (Quick Question: How do you get Mode 7Ex to look professional anyway?)
- More Obstacles
- Better Jumping
- (and anything else you'd like to suggest)
Version 1.1:
- Increased Graphics
- Working on "Jump"
- Added better gravity
- More to come soon!
I don't know so much about mode7, but for Raycasting, very good eye for graphics can end up with a nice looking result. It's pretty outdated 3D technology though, so in most cases it will look nothing close to the modern standard of "professional" 3D games.Quote:

MMF2 is really good for 2D games, this is AMAZING for 3D games! I've been messing around with the UDK and I know how to create and place models, set collisions and everything! But I can't find the scripting portion of it... None the less: Try this software!!!
Unreal Engine 3 is old, Source has gotten better in time, IMO, and id Tech 4 can make remarkable things as well. UE3 does support flash, but who would bother making a FPS in flash, a language that doesn't support very good hardware acceleration?
The new Unreal Engine 4 is coming out soon and it (like Unreal Engine 3) looks quite impressive!

Maybe I should wait and see if it's really good!
