List Object does NOT default to Line 0

I just went to set a string to the current line of a List object. When nothing appeared, I realized the List Object does NOT default to any line. I was expecting it to default to line 0. The workaround it to do a Set Current Line action just before I set the string, but that seems excessive.

Is this a bug?

I am using MMF2 Unicode.

Have you set it to 0 based index in the object properties? I believe it's set to 1 by default.

It is set to 0 based, but the issue is that if I create a List Object and set an Alterable String to the "current line", the Alterable String shows "" (nothing) as its contents. You have to explicitly "Set Current Line" to a value before you can set an Alterable String to the current line's contents. I just thought that the first line of the List Object would have been loaded by default.
