Hi
Does anyone know for sure that users will have to pay Sony more than just the 99$ a year subscription fee?
I read somewhere on this forum someone (maybe Francois) thought there was also a $1000+ SDK cost or something, but i am not reading about that on any other sites
I thought I remember reading Sony decided to reduce the costs.
Google might turn up a bit of news.
Hopefully so I just got a vita and its a nice little unit with not a lot of games and the games they have are expensive.
It will be a complete fail if Sony doesn't make it affordable to the indie/small developer similar to Xbox, iPhone, and Android.
But the answer is yes, you will have to buy the Vita SDK from Sony. So it will cost more than $99.
We will release a beta of the exporter soon. As the Vita SDK is still in beta version (so free for the moment) (but you cant publish games with it), this will be the perfect time to test it!
Francois, will the vita exporter be for exporting onto Playstation Mobile, or PS Minis?Quote:

The exporter uses the Vita SDK. So it will export to whatever platform supported by it (I have not followed the list of platforms)

Looks like I'll be buying 2 exporters within the next year then. ;)
