I think MMF2 has always used timeBeginPeriod, but yes I've reduced the value in a recent version, at least for frame rates >= 50. I don't remember which build though...

As soo as I have completed ùmy batch of HTML5 bugs, I will make an object that I think will have the same effect as the orginal Fast loop object : the "Delayed Event" object. Stay tuned!
Fanotherpg, the "timeBeginPeriod" function set to 1 will increase the timer precision. The framerate will be stabilized as a result.

How do i get MMF2 build 256?
Obviously its a download, but i can only find a Sticky with "build 255" written on it.
It is not available to the public yet. Just for some beta testing projects.
