There was another thread in which I too thought that multiplying the current velocity by a constant value should be constant acceleration, but I was wrong, hence the need for more complex maths.
Of course, I may have been wrong again!

I looked at the thread, seems like the distance was sought for in that instance. That can be done fairly easy as well.
Based on the last calculation:
Distance from constant acceleration
A = Current speed
C = Constant acceleration
X = Time
Y = Distance
Y = A * X + 0.5 * C * X pow 2
