ok, I am seeing something that I cannot get for some reason.
You used a Quick Backdrop, and when I double click on it, I cannot get the editor.
When I click on the Quick backdrop in your sample, I do get the editor..
Also the Grid thing is really smart.. Once I figured that one out, then I'm going to figure out how to save it to a file so I can reload where I left of all the checks etc. (kinda like a save)

I figured out late last night that when I drop a Quick Backdrop on the side, and do Duplicate.
Then I can doubleclick on the duplicate and add a picture, and that's visible.
When I do the same way in my project, i am not seeing the picture when I run the frame, but in yours it does.
The properties are the same, so there has to be something else that's making it work properly..
Going to play some more later tonight..
So far it's eating all my time :)

it was "Motif". That makes things a lot easier :) for that part.

How do I get the red X in the front of the 1st rule ? I can't seem to find it in any of the menu's so it's probably very simple..

The "X" means the event is negated. If you right-click on the condition, and select the "negate" option, it either adds the red X or removes it if it is already there. Negated conditions make them check for the opposite. For example, if you negate an object overlap test, then it will check for when the object isn't overlapping.

For some reason, I cannot find the difference why the mouse movement is different then in your example.
Why is the highlighted square not moving on the correct positions?
I played with the XMouse / YMouse setting, but since the squares are all 25p x 25p I am assuming that at the and I use / 25 * 25 .
I added + 20 to get it centered (That seems at least what it does)
but for some reason, it goes out of sync/ not line up anymore..
and everything looks the same.
What am I missing?

ok, I will give that a shot.
I looked the sizes of both component and the X and Y position.
