Okay. Well I can't recall any instance where I'm using scaling on those objects.
I have tried that yes, but it turned all of my assets really distorted and blurry, I couldn't keep it.
Can't click 'quote' on FVivolo's or DaveC's posts for some reason.
Fvivolo: I don't know if Photoshop is the villain, all of my assets are made using Photoshop and it always works out fine. What software do you use?
DaveC: Before I save my assets I tend to rasterize them so that precise cropping is easier.
Update:
I've attempted removing the stroke effect from the assets in Photoshop, and the problem has almost disappeared. I think there is a strong correlation between affected assets and assets using the stroke effect. There still seems to be a very slight distortion going on, as circular objects appear to be a little too flat on the top and bottom. That isn't very notceable, however.
Update 2:
Applying a shadow around the object in Photoshop will achieve the same distortion as the stroke effect would. It might be that the distortion is there all along, and that the transparent dark regions around the object simply emphasises it more on screen. Or it could be what causes it, not sure.
Cyrberbard, what resolution is your app? If it doesn't fit perfectly in to the Android screen size, it will scale it automatically, which can cause some of the distortion, depending on the type of graphics you use. This is why a game can look fine on PC, because it is at full resolution, but on the phone it stretches to fit the phone screen, and some bits are distorted.
I don't have any issues with creating image in photoshop and using them in Android Exports. What do you know that I don't FVivolo?
check your phones display settings.. on my Galaxy S4 I have an option named "Increase Legibility" if this option is ticked I get a similar issue with my games (not just Fusion ones)
you could post an .apk here and we can test on other devices to see if we get the problem.
I haven't had any trouble with alpha channels or importing graphics from photoshop.
Some effect done in Photoshop generate strange artifact in android, according other users, Google it.
I use an oldie application photo impact from ulead and now Corel, I use Photoshop but I finish and save in photo impact.
Thanks again for all responses! In the end I changed my assets to a less rounded look, so the problem isn't noticeable any more.
