Can i limit Entries into the Edit Box?

For instance right now if i use £ or $ etc and if i use ctrl+backspace i get a square, i would only want text to be enterable, Any suggestion how i would go about it.

Obviously i dont want the person to be able to enter those characters in a name, I also need a way to limit the amount of characters.

Also do you know of a way to change the selection color in a listbox to something custom.

I believe the "Masked Edit Object" will give you the functionality you are looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll take a look into that and report back here when i have done so.

What about the stand windows selection in lists, any way i can work around that.
