I've got iAds active in my game and when I run a build on my iPad it all works fine and displays the test ad at the bottom of the screen.
However, if I plug in my iPhone and run the same build the ads arent displayed?
Is there any reason why the ads are displayed on the iPad but not on the iPhone?

Hmm. it should work just fine for both.
Never had that problem before.. Unless it's a bug in the latest update.
Try download my Free file, since that has the ads in it.. (at least it should be :) )

Cause if that's not the case, then there is a bug.. I know it's working for the Ipad.

I just downloaded your game and ran it on my iPhone and no ads where shown.
Does this mean there is a bug in the exporter?

I released 3 more apps, and the Iadd is not working anymore for some reason.
ok, this is a major problem.
My apps over the last 2 weeks are downloaded 3000+ times, and not a single click.. Even tried it for myself and it's not working..
on the Test device it's showing the Test banner, but that's about it.
Nobody else not having these problems??????

Ads not showing on iPhone or iPad version now but they work on the test build.
Its rather annoying as my game is free but the ads don't show :(
I Know, it's a pain. Glad I am not the only one.. opened up a ticket a while ago, but no response as of yet.
I've sent an pm to Anders, to find out what the status is.
Maybe its time to try and implement ChartBoost.
Think I'll give it a try tonight as iAds was a major reason why I purchased the IOS Exporter :(
I have to look into it... seems to be a pain to get it implemented, but if it works I guess it might be worth it..
Although Iads pays a lot more seems like it.
I hate to go back to my previous version, cause it works in that one... since my other apps are doing fine in the store with Iad.
But reinstalling everything is a pain as well. :(
So I am stuck atm... no matter what the outcome is.... it ends up for a week in the apple review status afterwards... so I lost then a lot of clicks.
Update: iAds now working on iPad version. Think it takes a good few days to become activated. Still don't work on the iPhone version though

Just tested for you on both iPhone and iPad and your ads are showing on both :)

Weird, that mine are showing, and yours not.
Checking with someone here at work atm, that's where I saw that it didn't show up.

It's working now on the Iphone 5S too.
Wish they would have let the devs know, instead of hanging us in there for months.
Not sure what the differences between our two apps are then.
Mine is in Landscape mode on both the iPhone and iPad. Maybe the iPhone version doesn't like the ads being in landscape mode?

I remember when the iOS exporter was not updated that the statut bar was displayed everytime. The trick was to hide it by yourself on Xcode after exporting the game with MMF. Now it's fixed, but maybe it's the same problem with iAd.
How is set the iAd in your Xcode file?

Its never worked on the iPhone only the iPad - but they use the same build!
I've sent an update through to Apple which is waiting for review so I'm going to see if they start appearing after the update.

OK, some further checks.
If I run the build through the IOS Simulator or plug my iPhone in and run the build then iAds will show.
However, the released version on the iPhone doesn't show any iAds, but the iPad does.
I've double checked all settings and I have the following:
Targeted Device Family = iPhone - iPad
Architecture = All Architectures
Screen orientation = Landscape
Display = Stretch to Fill
Enable iAd is also ticked
Reading more on the internet and it seems that only a certain amount of ads will be served to your app over a set period and over time this amount goes up. It is possible that there's just no ads being served at this point in time; although the iPad seems to get iAds all the time.
Hmm. Idk. Never ran into that before.
Remember you can under "Settings -> Developer -> iAD Developer App Testing" find useful settings when you want to test the ads.
Also note that if you have enabled developer mode on your iOS device they might use these developer testing settings and give different results than non-developer iOS devices.
Anders, so long... sorry for the off topic, did you modify the iOS Object to give full support to the MFI Gamepad? I am about to launch my app and I give full support to the device.

I posted the question on the Apple forum, and got the following comment back.
- Maybe the wrong category... (So I asked them where it was, since I never heard of it, and my older apps we're working fine)
It still seems to work, and really puzzled why my apps are working on your phone, and your app is not showing..
Now... the category that I can think of (light bulb just turned on) is, when you post the app.. you put in a category.
I posted mine under Puzzle/Boardgames and Family.
Have to look to see where I posted the other ones under.
MAYBE that's what he was talking about
And someone else mentioned that Iad is not what it used to be... so maybe Chartboost or anything else could maybe be implemented permanently in an Extention..
I hate to dig into the Xcode, to make things work etc..
I don't think the category would matter as the iAds show on the iPad using exactly the same build/setup etc

I tested on my 4S with iOS8 beta 5, I see no ads

Don't think iAds are working on any iPhone. Very frustrating. Think I might try and get ChartBoost working instead.
Or
I might even ditch IOS dev and go over to Android although I've just spent a ton of money on dev kit!
