Aww, I wouldn't have figured that out.. Good to know, though! And luckily, there are a ton of workarounds for this particular event :)

Wow! Just when I think I have all the goofy mmf behavior figured out I learn of this. Thanks Snail. Guess I will make it a point to just use a custom death anim in the future for everything. I really hope this sort of thing is removed in future mmf products. Anything that defies simple logic like this is just frustrating. Especially when you waste an afternoon trying to determine why it doesn't work. At least we have the forums. :)
Btw the sample file is in bug tracker if you want to take a look.
Yeah, I got the link from Snail's post :) I just have occationally visits to the forum, so not sure where everything is located in here XD I still like to think I can help once in a while, but this background stuff is beyond me.
Whenever I get stuck in such odd stuff, I just find another way.. And if I get too curious, I may drop in a post like you did :D
Btw, Snail - did you say you should never touch the Disappear animation at all, or do you mean in an event??
I feel like it should be avoided so you get in better coding habits. But then again the way I am using it might be more advanced than the disappear animation was intended for.
Fair enough. I havent really used the Disappear animation before. Deaths shouldnt go to quiet down without some visual splatting effects anyway >:)
