Platform Movement Object on Android

Hi, I am new on this forum.
I have been using clickteam products for years, and as soon as possible I'll purchase the new product: Fusion 2.5 + Android export module, on Steam.

It turns out that there's a very well known and versatile extension called Platform.mfx (a.k.a Platform Movement Object) which has been used many times on the development of 2D platform games, often used as a replacement of MMF's default platform movement, my question is: Does the Android export module support that extension?

Yes it does.

You can find any extension, even ones you don't have installed from within Fusion in the extension manager. In a frame editor, choose insert object from the menu, then click the "manager" button at the right side of the extension list that comes up. Now search for whatever extension you want or want to learn about my typing its name in the search-bar.

This will then show you which platforms that particular extension runs on.

Do note, though, that sometimes the extension manager neglects to mention certain runtimes that an object is compatible with. For example, the physics movements and objects work in Flash, but the extension manager doesn't say that they do.

Hello Happygreenfrog did this extension (advanced platform movement) works for android on mmf 2.5 too ?

Yes it does. As far as I know, there are only a few MMF2 objects that have issues in CF2.5, mainly ones that completely broke with HWA, though I think a few of them broke with Unicode instead (though very few completely ceased to work in Unicode).

And on non-unicode version it's ok really ??? ^^

Clickteam Fusion 2.5 uses Unicode in general, I do believe, but most objects still work. The platform movement object still works in CF2.5, I know since I've used it, even in Android. If there are any other objects you are worried about, then I'm sure someone who has said object can confirm whether or not it works if you just ask.

So, Platform movement object seems to not works with ladders :(

The Platform Movement Object never has had built-in support for ladders. However, the whole point of the Platform Movement Object is how customizable it is, so you should be able to implement them manually (though good luck doing that using backdrops set to "ladder" instead of active objects).
