Idiotic mistakes and cock-up

Is there a place for us simple noobs to check for, or add to a list some of the idiotic/regualrly made mistakes or hiccups that we make to help other freshies on their journey?

Background:
I am trying to create a game where the main character is followed around by a secondary character.
All is well and good in my game world except...seemingly at random my secondary character decides he doesnt want to hang around and shoots off screen at 50 mph.
Three days I have been trying to figure out, what in the name of all that is holy, I am doing wrong...but alas...being the noob that I am...my secondary character is using the race car movement and I left the reverse option checked so every time i hit the down arrow twice our faithful companion buggered off...

I can bet there are so many idiotic mistakes crawling out there in the darkness,
that none, even among the experts, can declare being totally out!
This could happen daily to anyone, so (at least to my opinion),
when you already have spent enough time checking and bumping your head on the screen... don't bother and ask ;)

However, for basic "how can I?" or "why It doesn't?" needs,
there is a huge number of tutorials made from many high skilled guys,
and an infinite resource of posts in the history of this forum, so the key is wide-searching.

For specific single-case errors,
I guess there are so many features in Fusion that such a list could be really hard to compile/search :o

AH, to my memory, an interesting "technical manual" was pulled out by Nivram, collecting a huge quantity of material,
and, If I'm not completely mistaken, It should address many of Fusions "strange" or, to say, "not-so-intuitive" behaviour,
teaching how to avoid common "traps" and how to accomplish basic tasks for newcomers.

In fact Nivram, you have a nice "Follow the leader" example which sounds exactly like what he's looking for, and can be probably be modified to suit his needs (I myself have it saved and plan on toying with it as well).
