Just an idea: Custom Movement & Physics Engine that works as well as Knytt Stories?
I played the platformer called Knytt Stories and I loved how movement and wall physics worked together.
In my opinion this combination makes travelling through 2D game worlds very effective and smooth at the same time.
I believe a custom movement/physics engine which works as well as Knytt Stories would be a very good basis for other 2D games.
And that's what I want. I tried it on my own but it's too complicated for me as inexperienced user.
I have problems with the PMO and animations. I have no idea with the wall physics and how to do this umbrella gliding thing.
Would it be better for the custom movement, if I had a single animation with player character and umbrella?
Nifflas used two animations, independent of each other and put they together in one thing somehow.
In general he created a very complex engine. All things work together over several frames, the engine uses
external resources and Nifflas created an extra editor for the levels. His engine is like the capstone of a construction,
if you remove one piece the whole thing collapses. Of course I want to steal anything from the original game.
What I want is a similar engine with the movement and the wall physics, as a basis for own 2D games.
Here is what I tried so far:

I realized that I really need help, advice or solutions.
Maybe it's to late, but let's do a community project... Let's trial and error and help each other to praise and honor Nifflas' Team and to become enlightened.....
........ and if there is something that we would like to have for Christmas, then it would be such an engine
in the Guides and Examples section.....
