Hi everyone,
I've had reports of sound effects not playing correctly in my Android app. It seems this is only happening on certain devices.
One sound will play correctly when the player enters the title screen, but after that no sounds occur in the game.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or know of a fix?

I have not played too OGG and wave - mostly short effects.

Yep, that sounds like it. Seems like Samsung Galaxy's mostly. I've watched the report. Thanks for the responses.
Sorry for dragging up an old post, but I was wondering if this issue has been fixed yet. It has been a month since the bug report was updated,and was hoping there was at least a temp fix until the next patch.

I installed the latest android Beta. Unfortunately, Preload Sound is still not playing correctly.

I am having the same problem was well with version 285.2a. About 1 or 2 sounds play and then silence. (Samsung Galaxy S6, Android 5.1.1)
Same outcome as Overseer. Not working.
Thanks Gents for the info, can you provide me with a log, thanks in advance, this version give me some hint of sound operation so a full log from start will help me a lot.

I'm reinstalling the JDK and SDK and going to use JDK 7 instead of 8. I will let you know if it is any different.
I downloaded the apk that Fernando posted and installed it on my phone, it works just fine. However, I also tried downloading Doverseer's mfa file, made it into an apk, installed, and that one does not work. I think it may some something to do with the settings on my end.

I reinstalled the SDK and JDK 7 but I am getting the same problem. I don't know whats going on..

This worked for me.
The sound problem seems to be resolved. I tested the audiotest file and it works fine.
But my own app now gets an error when trying to build an apk: Attachment 18928

seems that you are mixing two version of runtime, you must test all this using the beta release in owner's lounge.Quote:

Not sure how multiple versions of the runtime got installed. I have completely uninstalled the Android Exporter through my computer's control panel, re-installed from the e-mail download link from when I first bought it, installed 284.10 by clicking Help -> Check for Update in Fusion, and then installed the beta version 285.2b posted today in the owner's lounge. The APK will build now but the sound problem is still there.

Where can I get a copy of the beta to test? The Product Owner's Lounge only has older versions available, latest being v258.2
