Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Patch Request
Hey Yves,
If you get this message, I was wondering if you could read over my special request for a new patch for Clickteam Fusion 2.5. I was wondering if we could settle an agreement on making the Clickteam limit larger with this solution: Upon creating a new file (new game in the mfa) It asks for a 32-bit version or a 64-bit version. Upon clicking 32-bit, it gives you the 2gb limit so that 32-bit operating systems can handle the exe file. Upon clicking 64-bit, it gives you either unlimited, if not, a 32gb limit. This will give Clickteam developers a great opportunity to make much bigger games and a much better experience. I don't want to sound like a beggar, but please, please make this patch possible. :( It's not fun when you want to make a big game, and have an mfa file removing it's own programming and corrupting itself. If you agree with my new patch idea, you don't have to do what i'm about to say, but please if you agree, please make sure the patch is ready in about a month or 2, if not, earlier. I have been working on TRTF:R for about 3 months and planned my release date for X-mas. The reason why it's specifically on X-mas is because it's the 1st Anniversary of the series. The only thing stopping me from continuing development on my game is the 2gb mfa limit. The game does have a ton of animations, so it does effect the mfa A LOT. I did minimize the amount of animations, but there will be more for the enemies of the game and moving around. Basically the game is a point and click free roam. I would switch to a REAL 3D game making engine, but I would prefer to stay with Clickteam since it's an absolutely amazing program and I have been using it for 8 months now. So it's hard leaving something you know and love. I hope you liked the idea for the new patch. :) I hope things are fantastic on your end, have a nice day/afternoon! :)
