What's the best way to go about having a remove ads button? Different version or IAP?

Hello everyone,

I currently have an app on the android market that is a lite version. Would you guys recommend to simply have a version without ads also available for purchase.... or do an IAP so that they can just remove the ads.

I have com.karmasoft.futurepolicelite out on the market right now... would it be easier to just have them click on a link within my lite version that leads to a googleplay app that is the full version without ads? such as an app with package name com.karmasoft.futurepolicefull ?

What is best and easiest to manage?

i use a Lite version, with the option to unlock the full game.
so that everything is enabled.

I have done both paid and free versions of my biggest apps Loot Hero and Tap Heroes in the past. In my experience and going forward though from here I will always just go with a free version. It is so much easier to handle just one version instead of two, both when it comes to doing updates and also in regards to linking to, growing and marketing your app. I don't really think you miss out on any revenue really either, sure you get some sales on the paid version, but the fact that you can just focus on one version makes it easier to "pump" that version up instead of having to focus on two + you save time, and time = money anyway.. So I would recommend to just do a free version with an inapp to remove the ads.

What I did for my apps is making a free one and by changing a setting g it becomes a full version. And sell the full version first and 2 weeks later the free one with iap to unlock.. but that's my approach lol.. but just 1 version for both.
