Typewriter effect and sound

So I am using this typewriter effect:

(Ctrl+f and then type typewriter or go to the bottom of the page.)

And after searching over and over and either finding something that wasn't close/didn't seem to be using the code I was using/wasn't in CT2.5 I think my only option is to create a thread here....
(Sorry if I didn't search hard enough, or made a thread in the wrong section by chance.)

So I am using the typewriter on the COB site, simple code, works, so its good, but its so annoying to hear my typewriter sound play when there is a space between the letters, is there a way to make it not play that sound when there is a space? Err.... Please also have a simple explanation?

You can use any object that can get "last key pressed" such as the Key object and then test that it's not "Space".

I am sorry, but... key object? It appears I can't find any object with the name "Key" in the object creation menu...?

What I'd do is have an event for the sound that is completely separate from the main typewriter code, so every new character added that is *not* a space, play the sound.

I am very sorry to ask, but could you give me a simple step by step, like tell me what event I should use and stuff?
