Can't build game into a stand alone application

Hey every one. I'm new to game development and have been hard at work to bring people a game which has become dear to my heart. But when I go to build the stand alone application it doesn't save as a stand alone application. The save icon only flashes blue and does nothing else. How can I resolve this issue?

can't see "save" icons flashing when building applications :o

let's check some facts:

- you building with CTF 2.5 (no free, no dev - red icon right?)
- making a wondows.exe app type (check application properties build type)
- you go to file - build - "application" right?

and then what exactly happens?

The save button just flashes a light shade of blue.

You mean that when you click "save" in the "save as a stand-alone application" popup dialogue
the button just gets clicked and nothing happens?

You entered a correct filename (no unsupported special characters in filename)
Running in windows - version?

Reply/confirm to above questions on your ctf version and build type?

Pls provide as much info you can so that users or staff members -if needed- may help you get your exe built

I think it's built now. Because when I took away a ? from the name of the game it saved so I don't know if it was built.

I can reproduce this on my side,
"?" is not accepted in file name and my save button does nothing as well

Nice. So I should be able to get it released now.

Can any one give me suggestions on where I can release my game?
