Pixel Game looking Blurry on IOS

In fusion and the iphone simulator in a mac, the game is crisp and sharp. However, when I run the game on my iphone, the graphics are all blurry.

NOTE:
-I have smooth resizing set to "off"
-My frame size is 240 by 436 which is very very close to the aspect ratio of the iphone
-I set the display to "fit inside black bars"
-I set image compression to "None"
-I set the colors to "16 million"

STRANGE GLITCH: When I pull up the notification center, the game becomes sharp and clear (on iphone). But when I pull the notification center back down, the game is blurry again. Help!

do these games work fine?

Downloaded the hide and seek game. Can't seem to notice.

hide and seek was also made with fusion, so if it works fine, it must be something wrong with your app.

Could you upload a Simulator screenshot and a device screenshot?

I am beyond confused. When I screenshotted and checked photos, it was perfectly fine. But when I switch apps back to my game, its fuzzy. The clear version looked like this:

so when you took screenshots, both of them were fine, but when you play the game, it's not right?

Hey advaith could you send me the mfa of hide and seek so I could copy the property settings? Delete everything in the frame if there are things you don't want me to see. I'm not sure but I do believe that for hide and seek, bring out the notification center seems to have an opposite effect. It's sharper without the notif center.

Okay, I checked your property settings and its identical to mine except that you have smooth resizing on. I tested it with smooth resizing both on and off and neither worked. I appreciate your help though.

I'm thinking the 640x480 is too small, so it ends up blurry since the screens are all HD now these days..
I make mine in 1024x768 for Ipad and 1366x768 for Iphone. and the images are crisp and clear..

If you check some of my old games, they are blurry.. (made in 960x480)
and the latest games they are all crisp, (1366x768 or 1920x1080)

Perry: Hide and seek is also 640x480 and it's not blurry for me.

to be honest, I didn't install it, but that's kinda what i figured, with all the retina displays now and days.
if it's not blurry, then it's odd that it is for the other person.

Hey guys so I took a video of the problem. It's kinda hard to see, but you will notice that when I open the notification center or control center, the app becomes crystal clear just like in the simulator and in fusion. Otherwise, the app is blurry as if smooth resizing was turned on. Although it may not seem that big of a difference in the video, it is extremely noticeable in real life and very annoying.

I cannot test it because I do not have the pip array.arr file, it is on your desktop.

i am experiencing your exact same problem except in reverse.. its crisp normally, but blurry wen u slide on the arrow or change the volume. it always used to be consistent until apple changed something in ios 9. coz i noticed it after i updated, my brother is still on ios 8 & his stays consistent. i think me & u r probly the only ones in the world that have noticed this issue XD

Looking at the video..
Your pulling the overlays for the menu's for IOS at the bottom, and the Reminders are the top.
The screen will get blurry when you do that.. until it's hidden again..
it's with most apps like that

Like I said, again, my app becomes sharp and clear with the overlays out and blurry when the overlays are hidden. I know for a fact that this is not because of IOS since I tried this out on every other app on my phone and they all stayed the same. Sorry that it is difficult to tell from the video.

well on my brothers ios 8 ipod its always blurry. wen i switched to ios 9 it wen sharp so updating might fix it, altho i personally never recommend updating unless u absolutely hav to. funny thing is i actually WANT mine to be blurry, as i thought it looked better that way, but can't seeing as i cant roll back to ios 8 :(

& it went sharper on all non fusion apps on my device wen i updated.

You should also list the iOS version and device you are testing on. iPhone6+, for example, will make all pixel art blurry no matter what, because Apple thought it was a good idea to do auto-downscaling of the screen at runtime. But on a side note, I have had testers report a problem where the device will be blurry when the device is unplugged, but becomes crisp when plugged to a mac. I am guessing it ia power saving feature that is enabled or disabled based on where the device is drawing power from. I would be curious if this is just a glitch due to iOS9 and Fusion needing an update.

I'm running ios 8.1 on a Iphone 6. Also I tried plugging and unplugging and it had no effect :/

1. iPhone 5s - iOS 8.2 - 640 x 1136 - 1 GB
2. iPhone 5s - iOS 8.4.1 - 640 x 1136 - 1 GB
3. iPhone 5s - iOS 9.3.2 - 640 x 1136 - 1 GB
4. iPhone SE - iOS 9.3 - 1080 x 1920 - 2 GB


Additional information on the blurry devices:
1. When you just return from sleep mode it looks sharp for a moment.
2. When you adjust the volume using the volume buttons to the left it looks sharp for a moment.
3. When you receive a Game Center pop-up it looks sharp for a moment.
