Simulate screen tap on Android?

Dear Fusion 2.5 Clickers,

in relation to a Windows App, it´s possible to simulate a mouse click via the ControlX extension.
What about simulating a screen tap in an Android App?

I would like to create a small app which taps on the screen but on a certain spot (like x-coordinate 100, y-coordinate 500) each 5 seconds. So I need an event like "every 5 seconds -> do a single tab on pos x 100, y 500). I have to mention that this tap must happen outside the app (so even it´s not maximized).

Has anyone a solution how to do this? If not, is it possible to develop a suitable extension with the Android SDK?
