A personality system for determining what attacks an enemy has sounds like it could be suitable enough. Might be something worth adding, though saving it for a later version would be fair enough methinks.
Also, good to hear that the game will get updates with new attacks! That should keep things interesting. :)

Those are some nice logos! :) That being said, in the app icon, do you think you could maybe adjust it so the person and flag are both on land instead of on water? I think it would make a bit more sense, and look a tad bit more professional than it already does.

Randomized looping backgrounds have been added to the battle system,they're quite earthboundISH.With it I now believe the battle system is visually complete.
