It looks like you can't force the animation frame of an active inside a group deactivated at start (even after activating it) - At least when you have not used it before activating the group -
Looks like a bug to me or did I miss something?
Very basic test attached (3 lines of code).
Note that after activating line 2 it works correctly, anyway that's unexpected.

I don't understand your problem here?
You have a Stopped animation(3 images) with 50 Speed.
Just force a frame first or set Stopped animation Speed to 0.
- (negated)Group test is activated → Force animation frame to 0
- Button OK clicked → Activate deactivated Group
- On group activation → Force animation frame to 2
The problem is the code should work the way it is. It's intentionaly a bad one for demo purpose but it should work anyway.
I expect the frame to be forced to 0 once the group is activated. It does not.
Brovic, you must loop the animation - otherwise it won't work.
Stopped Animation:
Loop: yes
Repeat: 0
Back to: 3
Events:
- Button OK clicked → Activate deactivated Group
Group:
- Current Frame = 2 → Force animation frame to 0
Indeed, it works that way. Thanks for the tip, though I still don't understand very well why my code doesn't work.
I keep on thinking it should have.
