When sending a file, the MMF2 application will sometimes freeze for around 5-20 seconds.

The automatic backup feature only does it every time you save. ASD means a feature that saves automatically every x minutes. Most modern applications have this feature.

flags are booleans. Alterable values are integers / floats. There should be a way to set a flag to a specific value (either 0 or 1 / true or false).

Yep Scintilla is massively screwed up. It appears in the object list but there is no icon, I can't put it in my frame and all actions related to it makes MMF2 explode

as a workaround to not having a force group visibility/invisible I tried adding a material with a transparent texture and changing a group's texture to that.

Yeah I am sure I entered the right names. It worked fine when I changed it to a texture already used by the model, but if I change it to another one that isn't, it doesn't seem to work.
also I don't think "set group material" is working. I tried setting it to a different loaded texture, but it couldn't load it for some reason. "On texture handle request" wasn't called....
also Animation loopcount is broken (it always loops infinitely)

Getting event editor crashes as of the latest version. Probably obsolete or changed actions, but it's a pain since I can't remove them without crashing first.

Pixel shaders can't do that, a vertex shader would be needed. MMF2 does not support vertex shaders.
You could do it with a pixel shader, or maybe even entirely without, but you'd never be able to...

There is a bug where if an object moves too fast, it gets cropped, as if the sprite itself is moving outside its boundary box. It appears both in standard and HWA.

I have a platform game where when the user moves he sends his directions to the server. The server then corrects him according to its own calculations.
Using both pylacewing and the C++ server on a local machine transfering through LAN have these delays

I seem to have some problems with delays - a lot of packets being send take 3-4 seconds to arrive, even with udp on.
Is this a Lacewing bug? I don't recall it ever being this bad with OINC.
Actually I just tried running the server_with_udp_example.py and udp works fine in that.
