when you choose the sample there is a play button to preview the file before you add it. Once added there is no preview unless you edit the event to change the sample

You can stop it deleting them by limiting the event to only one action when event loops but it still deletes the wrong one. Works fine if you use active system box instead so thats what i am using....

I had a similiar issue and had to add an event to bring actives to the front each time.
Not sure if this is a bug or just not possible. If you uncheck save background on an active and choose a wipe color it does not wipe on ios the background remains intact.
