I figured out how the sound bug error occurs >:D
if u play 2 of the same sounds overlapping on different channels, then play the sound again BEFORE letting the previous samples finish...

I do not know much about code but through much searching & copying & pasting, I narrowed the problem down to the CSoundPlayer.m file in Xcode.
Fernando it was working fine in 291.6, so I'm pretty sure it happened when something was changed here in the changelog for build 292.0

from 0:25 onwards every time I press it you can hear that it cuts the previous sample & starts the new one, so u never hear a double up echo after that.

it appears to me that the "is ??? animation playing" doesnt detect whether is playing or not, but instead detects if its on that particular animation sequence so maybe see it more as "is animation...

the culprit is "change resolution mode" if u click that off then it works, wen u run it it will then start automatically fullscreened with everything on at the right ratio with no borders.
