To be fair, trying to do something the same with the Datagrid, exhibits the same annoying behaviour in resizing, would be good if the edit window would at least allow you to expand it out.

Yeah.. Game Center really adds a lot to a game.. Achievements, Leaderboards and Multiplayer stuff... very useful for a game.

You should be ok, i think you can find the tech specs for Lion on the Apple website (going Lion is important for future proof i think)... If all you are going to do is the Xcode part on the device...
I would say that at some point in the future Apple will phase out the 3g from the dev kit and you may have a device that you cannot test on, its very old tech and a lot slower than the other devices...
Would always recommend uploading a simple example file if you can, as this makes it easier for the guys to test.

In my case - It seems that MMF was not creating the INI file, so after manually creating it, everything worked fine.

You need to right click on the Resources folder in Xcode, and add files... you will...
Ini works for me (used it in memory shop)..
I always get MMF to create the initial ini in the application folder... to make sure its working.
Then remember you have to manually copy the ini...

Having something you can test on is really essential whatever the platform you are developing in. Just so you can prove what you have made works and performance wise is acceptable.

Getting an iPod is the cheaper option generally if you want a device to test with.
I'm pretty sure you have to do something on the profile/connect side... but can't check right now.
Even though you have specified it as version 1.1 in MMF (I guess) you also need to make sure you specify 1.1 on the provisioning website (I think)... as that will have a different ID that you use to...
Remember when you build the app (zip) and have extracted it and opened it up in Xcode... you need to copy any external data such as ini and array files directly into the resources folder in Xcode.

The file it generates is a .app file, when dealing with the apple side (to upload to apple) you need to zip the .app file. The application loader is very useful for checking if things are done right.
The apple side is not simple, but once you've done it once then it does get alot easier :)
You can also right click on the project or build if i remember correctly and select find in solution (or folder) and it will directly open the folder where the compiled files are (in Xcode)
