Sorry for the delay as well.
The best bet would be to just hide the objects in the event editor and make a folder for these objects in the level/frame editor.

The issue is not Fusion.
Instead of having a set of sensors for each instance of an object you should have ONE set of sensors for ALL instances of an object.

Unfortunately the only solution is the collision masks, zone definition, or just replacing all backdrops with actives. Having a lot of actives isn't really going to hurt anything in modern day...
This is just monitor ghosting.
The only way to fix it is to change your monitor overdrive settings, if it has it, or buy a better monitor with a much better response time. It will never be 100%...

Another thing to consider is if you want to place specific items in specific chests . . . . EG

How does the gameboy shader work? For me it makes all objects the same color.
Good catch! I did check the event list, but missed that.

Just something interesting that I found.

Here ya go.
The reason the "timer" counter is 120 is because the framerate is 60. If you subtract 1 from 120 every frame it will reach 0 in exactly 2 seconds as long as your target framerate is...

I haven't used it personally, but the video shows a Zoom out function . . . however, this "Zoom out" function is probably just the Zoomz extension manipulating objects that are already rendered.

That is correct. When you swap to floats this issue should go away. This entire example is a well-known trick so I don't know why he opted to not use floats in the example.
You could reduce it slightly by reading raw distance. See below

Abs(Mouse Y ) - Abs((Player Y)+16) <40

Yes. Buy a monitor that isn't tiny.
I've run fusion on a 30" 2560x1600 display and currently on a 31.5" 2560x1440 display. It works phenomenally. Having the extra vertical space is a god send.
Doesn't the snail-on example only snap to rooms of the same size?
There are a few ways to approach. Use your current fireball as the hitbox (since you already have the code for it) and slap the fireball graphic on top of it.

I guarantee your issue is that you're causing overlap somewhere. Be sure that you're updating your sensor positions at the same time as your fireball positions. Are you sure you're...
A workaround could be to create a new object on top of the "Launched" object and destroy the launched one - with no speed/launch/whatever applied - and update all flags/values in the same event line.
No only one player object. I believe its registering a collision for both fireballs simultaneously. I didn't check to see if your edit corrected it.
In the edit I posted there aren't really any...
Your'e sketchy on TDC right? Good to see you're still around :o.

See the attached mfa. The only changes I made were moving the...
Also - someone else may need to chime in - but from my understanding ForEach loops are more efficient/less resource intensive than fastloops so you should use them whenever possible.
Specifically in this example it is because your fireball left/right/up/down sensors are positioned using ForEach loops. Checking for collisions or making movement adjustments during a Fast Loop will...

Ok well I'm at work right now. I'll see what I can do tonight when I get home.
How familiar are you with basic game physics. Do you have any experience creating custom platform engines?
I can make an example, but it might be a little more complex than what you're looking...
Do you have a pixel shader applied to any layers? Do you have a RGB coefficient set? Can you post the MFA?
Here is a way to do it with multiple objects and trig.
The issue is that this can only be applied to a certain extent. Handling object movements while they're attached becomes a whole different...
You're thinking too complex, lol. Please see the attached MFA and sample.
I found that the default frequency of samples is 31954 by playing a sample and setting a counter to said samples...
Always set Frequency to 0 + (Y of Player - Y of Object) / 6
To make it more subtle just add a modifier to the end - something like
0 + (Y of Player - Y of Object) / 6 * 0.25 - for 25% potency

I'm not on my pc so I only have the free edition of fusion. Does the mouse object not work?
Why do you need this to be so specific? There is literally zero reason to map the windows mouse cursor.
Threw this together in a few min. Holding - - = or + will increase/decrease radius.
Sorry for no comments - in a hurry and have to leave soon.
The issue is that you are moving the object in more than 1 pixel increments. You should start a loop that runs "XSpeed" number of times when "XSpeed" is higher than 0. This loop should only run when...
the store page cannot be accessed right now so I cannot read the description.
Can you provide some real-world applications for this? What is it best for?

Honestly I don't think having multiple 3d planes is /that/ useful. You really only need...

I've downloaded multiple examples and I'm not sure I see it. I'm usually very sensitive to the tiniest of changes and have had my share of odd fusion issues, but this just seems odd to me.

feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com I can possibly provide a few samples. If you can tell me what you need and what...

Why do you need look at? Your character already looks at the crosshair thanks to the angle code / ATAN2.
See this example. I made some changes and left some notes.
Interesting for sure.

For example, when you have mutliple enemies that use the same sensor if you have a...

Ok now a new issue. Now on any clients the objects move at a majorly reduced pace. It seems like there are too many packets and that the code can't sort the IDs quickly enough.
Oddly enough I isolated the code in another MFA and it works now.
First, I'm aware of dead reckoning and the efficiency of only sending the information that is needed. I seem to remember reading somewhere that streaming small info (eg, x/y coordinates) is fine...
Yes I tried using Two General Values AFTER trying normally > EG: Alterable Value "ID" = Received Byte. I knew it wouldn't work, but figured I would try it to exhaust all of my options.

Unbelievable how difficult this is considering how simple the concept is.
Guess these forums are as useless as ever.
Are you saying you have to pay the $9.99 in the clickteam store, then an additional transfer cost?
I had no idea bluewing was still being worked on. Most users probably have never even heard of bluewing. So basically any information that is new that has to do with fusion as a whole.
Phi, where does one obtain this information? It seems as if the clickteam website is void of potentially crucial third party updates/software and that anything old simply doesn't exist unless you...

This is a problem with your own coding, not a bug in fusion itself.
Add a delay between actions. I usually opt for a 3 frame delay .
EG: Player moves left
- Set Global Value "Delay" to 3
I wouldn't. Who is to say that the change will actually take place upon close?
What if your app crashes and the closing code doesn't run?
You're giving me more reason to buy it :P. I'm chomping at the bits, but have to wait a few paychecks :P.
Drop me an e-mail on PM here if you can and you're interested. If you can tell me which enemies you want from what games I should be able to replicate them easily.
I can probably deal with 250+ pixels. I'll buy it regardless to test.
Would you mind posting the EXE from the video? Maybe with adjustable radius?
That looks WAY better than when the same is done in Mode7 and looks better than the last example you sent me. Thanks!!!
I'm definitely interested in purchasing this. Let me know when its available...
Did you ever fix the issue with sprites jittering when you attach a camera to them?
I may be interested. Some samples are included below. If you're interested, get in contact with me and maybe we can work something out. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org

The method BoxFigs described will work for the entire game, but you won't be able to include a pause menu if needed.

What do you mean by that? You're going to have to be a bit less vague with your questions :P.

Here is a way to do it with no extensions.
It supports an infinite number of "blocks." All you have to do is add a new block into the level editor and the code will handle the rest.

Its been a while since I've played around with HTML 5, but I seem to remember certain events/actions not triggering at ALL whenever objects move outside of the playfield in HTML 5. I don't think this...
Be careful with moving objects outside of the frame at all. The HTML 5 runtime does NOT play nice when this happens.
What does "OutsideOfFrame" represent? Is it a static number?
Is this the HTML5 runtime by chance?
Whoops I made a mistake and made it every 0.05 not ever 0.50. That looks a lot better, and the choppy terrain may be something I have to deal with (it certainly isn't bad.) Its definitely a LOT...

With this you also have to make sure you copy all objects over to every frame as well.
Is this what you're looking for? (Run when resizing, run when minimized)
