How can my app detect whenever my app is opened?

Hi, I am trying to run a command whenever the user leaves the game and come back. for example when the user leaves app and comes back to open app it will say welcome back. I do believe chartboost does this too when the user goes on app and only pops up once whenever the user opens the app.
I hope you understand what I am trying to ask if not please tell me so I can describe it in a different way.
I hope this is possible to do in MMF2
    Thanks in Advance!

One of the iOS objects has an "On resume" condition.
