Firefly Terrain Height via event editor

I was wondering, does anyone know if there's a way to animate the height multiplier of the Firefly Terrain object?
I can't seem to influence that attribute via the event editor ( although I can use it as a condition ).

why would you want to adjust the height multiplier of your terrain during runtime ?

Well, it could be useful if you had a bubbling surface like lava, or even if you just wanted to create the illusion of something breathing in and out - using the terrain as a plane for a 2D sprite with alpha.

I would need to know more about writing/modifying HLSL shaders to modify the water surface into having a expanding and contracting motion.
Being able to change the height of the displacement on the Terrain, would make it much easier, but I understand if it's not possible.

water comes with values to alter the rising and lowering of the water surface without the need for shaders - did you read step 5 of the fps tutorial ?

as for the height multi - i'll unlock it in a future version.

    Thanks Triadian,
Sorry about the late reply. I really appreciate that you'll look into it.
I looked at the FPS example again - not sure if that's what you meant by tutorial? I'm unsure of which step 5 you're referring to.

yes step 5 of the fps tutorial introduces water and how to manipulate it using properties - most of which are editable in events
