Virus total detection 9/56

Whenever i build my cl2.5 game into a exe the exe shows up as a trojan from alot of virusdetection websites

Seems like all the famous ones are ok, it's the "unknown" or "free" virus software that is triggering a False positive.
There is nothing wrong with the file.
9 out of 56 ... and those 9 are all odd ball virus programs.. or really old..
That's not "alot" to be honest.. they are just not used a lot.

Unselect the "Compress runtime" option in the properties of your application (Windows tab), this will reduce the risk of triggering a false positive. It's now OFF by default but it was ON in older versions of the product.

It's happened to me too with both of my Steam releases.

BitDefender seems to think clickteam stuff is a virus for whatever reason (and I've submitted the files for them to take it off their black list too).
Yves is most likely right about unchecking the compress runtime box however none of my .exes are ever compressed and it can still happen from time to time.
