    Question Please help with fastloop example

    Hey Clickteam,

    I'm trying to create a simple Fastloop test that will help me with a bigger part of my game but it's not working like I thought. I created a simple fastloop that moves an active, which I named "Puck," down the frame. There's another active that I named "Puck Stopper" that's in the middle of the frame. What I'm trying to do is when "Pucks" y value is equal to "Puck Stoppers" y value, then I want "Puck" to stop no matter the speed that "Puck" is traveling. I want fastloops to help with perfect y detection so the Puck will always stop when the y values are equal. Here's my MFA. Please let me know how I can accomplish this! Thanks Clickers!

    In the 4th event, instead of doing "Y( "Puck" ) + Puck Speed( "Puck" )", you should do "Y( "Puck" ) + 1"

    This is because the fastloop is going to run however many times you set it to (5 in this case) before drawing the next frame. With the way you had it initially, it incremented 5 pixels each loop. As a result the puck will move 25 pixels every frame and ultimately skip over the stopper unless it's Y Position just so happens to be a multiple of 5.

    Using 1 ensures that it reads every pixel as it goes down, despite visually appearing to move 5 pixels each frame.
