Help with Movement button for player (left and right)

Hi
Im trying to make an android app that needs buttons to move the player left and right.
I have tried the "Repeat while mouse button is pressed" but I need that "Repeat when object is pressed" and the player stops when button is released.
After trying several times to make the code for this button. I have been looking for tutorials and videos for someting alike.(Im new to Clickteam fusion )
It all ended in that when I press the button the player just moves a little bit to one of the sides, and dosen't repeat

Can you tell us what movement type you are using?

Would be best without using any of the preset movements. Try doing "Repeat while mouse button/key is pressed" - "Set X coordinate a tiny bit to whichever side you are trying to go.

You can use a platform movement object to do it.
