Question Do I need a server for a simple P vs. P game?

    Hey Clickteam,

I'm starting to wrap up my first multiplayer App game! Woohoo! I hope to release some screenshots and gameplay in the near future. It's a simple shuffleboard type game between two players. My question is, do I need to have my own server to host a p vs. p game or does GameCenter take care of that? I'm new at multiplayer games and need to start thinking about this since I'm almost finished with the game! Thanks Clickers!

Game Center relays the data, it does require a few work arounds. My tips would be to definitely consider variation in screen resolutions and differences in FPS of devices. I also recommend (next time) considering multiplayer functionality from the beginning of application development... it will save you a lot of backtracking.

The multiplayer function is working via GameCenter. I've been testing successfully on two devices. I'm sorry I should have clarified. It fits every screen so far. I'm just asking if I upload this on the App store, do I need to host my own server? Or is players connected via gamecenter?

Apple's Game Center service relays the data for you. You do not need to set up your own server.
