I've been messing around with an example off castles of Britain. I've got my player as a bouncing ball and facing towards its direction when not overlapping the larger rotating ball.
So that the player faces the right way; when anchored to the larger ball I have the player always looking at the center of the larger ball. My solution works, yet it's rather jittery and has stilted movement when rotating. Does anyone have any better ideas to smooth out the player's rotation?
