In many little projects that I do, I would often need an AI that actually knows where it's going. Maybe like a race car or an enemy that would get around walls instead of going towards it.
Most of the time I need to find a way to avoid the need of such AI and I would really love to understand how to make it.
How can I make an enemy AI find his way (by himself) in a maze? Or make him hunt the player on a map?
If anyone could give me some tips or tutorials, I would appreciate it alot.
