Can't set up the health bar for the adversary in my beat'em up game

I set up a health bar for the player's character with the "Lives" object (image type selected, in the properties). So far so good cause I can control it in the event editor thru the icon that has a joystick and the number 1.

I cloned the health bar and in the properties window I choose player 2. It actually will be the adversary controled by the CPU. But in the event editor I can't see any joystick icon with the number 2. I was expecting it to show so I could have access to the adversary health bar as a counter.

    What did I do wrong?

Joystick 2 appears if you have "player 2" in the game (any object with movement "controlled by - player 2")
you can setup a "fake" object with any builtin movement and full deceleration / 0 speed to make it appear without harm to your game (and without player 2 )

or you can avoid using the "lives" object and use a counter instead

Many thanks schrodinger! That is something clever to do ahah using fusion is in itself a puzzle game.

Will try that later but I'm sure it can be done. I'm using the Lives object cause the counter I havent figured out how to use it as a bar, just numbers.

    Thanks again.
