The reason it isnt like unity is becuase it isnt a AAA product, its an indie creation software. Also, so you are trying to make something has powerful as unity (in what sense exactly?) but easier than firefly in how long with how many devs? Not doubting you but Firefly took 3 people 5 years to make and unity has out and continuously worked on for 12 years, not to mention the time put in before it was released. It just seems like a big promise you are putting out there.
Also, make sure to check back with CT early if you plan to build something upon their IP. Fusion is not open source and you could run into legal issues depending on your plans with this. What you promise seems nearly impossible to me but I'm happy if you prove me wrong.
Hey, I'm just excited that I'll finally be able to use tessellation, subsurface scattering and screen space ambient occlusion in my Fusion games. Maybe I'll put Spryke on hold and make Crysis 4 instead just kidding.
Though if you and your framework are indeed serious, Akshay, then you're probably doing yourself a disservice by announcing it so early and declaring the promises that you have, without any proof to back it up.
The internet is full of people who are all enthusiasm but no follow-through. And until you show people something tangible, that's unfortunately how people will judge you.
It's called vaporware in the inner circles.

I think we need to wait and see, before judging anything.
Maybe he's just excited to say something before it's fully done, I don't know...
I have the Steam edition. What am I supposed to do?
Currently working on it.
That's all right. It will take some time to make something proper though.
