    Arrow What Does Red Mean?

    Hi,

I've been looking over my code and two of my conditions are in Red colored font. What is the significance of this?

    Cheers,

Just change the order in your event.
you probably have a click event or a loop or something similar like that

See my 2 images.. Just swap them, and it's green

If you are using Multimedia Fusion, as opposed to Clickteam Fusion, then red conditions are called immediate conditions. These types of conditions are triggered by some event and are only checked by the Event Editor when the trigger occurs.

If you are using Clickteam Fusion, the same applies, but the default for these events is now green. Some skins will change the color from green to something else.

Regardless, ensure these type of conditions are at the top of an event's condition list or the conditions may not work as intended

Immediate conditions are discussed in http://www.clickteam.com/creation_materials/tutorials/download/Fusion_runtime.pdf (where they are called "true events", which is an alternative/older name for them). They are also explored in http://www.clickteam.com/creation_materials/tutorials/bermuda_triangle_1/bermuda_triangle_1.html
