How to store music and wav files

Ok so I ran into a situtation where I might have something like 50mbs of sounds and music in my game. I dont want to add them all to the .exe since it seems to make loading the game slow down.

So what is the correct folder structure and how to call them in the the Play Specific Sample In Channel option? (so that when someone installs the game, the game will load the sound files from correct path)

Yea, in your case, I would recommend the "Sound Player" object by Looki.
    http://dark-wire.com/store/extlist.php

Once installed the extension, add the object to your frame editor. In the event editor, you would do something like this:
[Your condition]: -> [Sound Player] -> Add Sound "Any name you want" from file ' Apppath$ + "your_sound_directory\your_sound_file.ogg" '

You can also: Right click under the speaker icon in the event editor -----> samples --------> "Play sample file on a specific channel" then press "Use expression" and type Apppath$+"Sounds/sound1.wav" (Or whatever subfolder you'd have for your sounds) If you don't want to use extensions

Actually, the reason why I posted this topic was about that info of playing sounds without needing extension.

I think you actually might have posted there too. -_-
