    Exclamation Black Hole Movement - Sin Cos

    Hi All,

    I'm trying to create an affect when the 'player object' of a platform game enters through a loop hole in the end of the level.

    I did something close to the circular movement using sin and cos functions. But I want the movement to start from the exact point where the player touches the loop hole object.

    You will understand what I mean better when you open my example file.

    Does anybody have an idea to improve this effect??

    Hi hcem,
    in the last event, I would replace the value of the built-in timer with a value of a custom counter, so you can control it better.
    Here's an example, it should work correctly. You can increase the rotation speed by increasing the value added to the counter in each loop (see line 9).

    Hi faber,

    That's really good for customizing the turning effect thanks!

    Do you have any idea on how to control the starting point of the rotating movement?

    For example for now, where ever the player touches the worm hole, rotating movement always start from the bottom part of it.

    Check the angle between the center of the hole and the player when you are about to begin. Then set the Cos/Sin angle to that when you initiate the black hole movement.
