Won't launch, returns to Steam store page

Program has been installed and when trying to launch it, it simply refreshes to a new steam home page. Tried with all AV and firewalls off and still no luck. I've uninstalled and tried installing on various HDD's and still no luck. I click the launch button and it just refreshes to the Steam home page. I also have the UWP product installed.

Using Ryzen5 with 24GB RAM, GTX 970 4G, Windows 10.

Any help would be great.

Sounds like a steam issue, I had a game a while back that would do the same thing.

What happens if you launch fusion directly? (mmf2u.exe, in whatever folder you installed fusion to.)

I agree it sounds like a steam issue. Have you tried verifying cache integrity? Though I guess uninstalling and reinstalling, as you did, should achieve the same thing.

Have you tried googling the problem without any mention of clickteam fusion, to see if there are known solutions for this problem with other steam games?

The only other things I can think of are regular troubleshooting procedures: restart pc; try running with as many programs and system tray apps closed as possible, update video driver, update audio driver.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have managed to get it working. A program was conflicting with it. Sorted now and back to developing my projects
