    Question about stairs on platforms above player

    Hey guys, so i have a stairs system that works pretty well, but it's got a few spots where i'm having issues with jump thru platforms (im using the PMO)

    See the pic below:

    The code works well, but i'm wondering; is there a way to make it so that while standing on the stairs i can make backdrops null, then when off the stairs it resets the alterable value of stairs to 0 then activates the backdrops again? Maybe add on the test for obstacle overlap event for when stairs = 0 and is overlapping a backdrop?

    EDIT: I've got something working, i'll post an example for anyone who may need it later when i get it fine tuned.

    It's a little jumpy at times when reaching the top of the stairs and going back to the main floor but overall it works pretty well i think, at least for what i need it for lol. Feel free to use if you like or improve upon it:

    Hey Warmachine, I was editing your file a bit and I think you will like what you will see. You wouldn't need to set sensors anymore since they will follow your character, the bad part is that I ended doing something wrong and he doesnt want to climb stairs without jumping anymore.

    If you can fix that small problem, you will have an almost perfect system here, ready to be used in all new stairs that you build in the future without needing to edit or add any line of code, just put your new ladder as the same qualifier and you will be ready to go!
