Mouse / Touch Click event to do only 1 action (but its doping multiple?)

Ok, im having a mind block, ive tried searching the forum but still not come up with a valid solution.

So basically this is the mouse click toggle issue, when the click event happens for the whole frame.

so I have 2 active objects, 1 visible, 1 not. I want to click the visible one and make the the other one appear in its place, THEN click that one and it swaps back. Basically a simple toggle switch?

But its not happening because it reads the click event, switches the actives, but then reads it again and switches back all in one click.

    Any clues...

    Thanks

That's strange - so this doesn't work for you?

User clicks with left button on Active 1
    - Active 2 Reappear

User clicks with left button on Active 2
    - Active 2 Make invisible

When you click on visible Active 1, Active 2 becomes visible and you also need Active 1 invisible, after you clicked the new visible Active 2?

Perhaps you can do something like this:

User clicks with left button on Active 1
    Active 2 is invisible
    - Set Global Value A to 1
    - Active 2 Reappear
    - Active 1 Make invisible

    Global Value A = 1
    - Set Global Value A to 0

User clicks with left button on Active 1
    Global Value A = 0
    - Active 1 Reappear
    - Active 2 Make invisible

Try something with flags like in my example.
Does it do what you ask for ?

Ok, so this works (although i still find it such a crazy work around just to do this???). anyway, the issue now is this is for mobile, so how do "mouse is over object" work on mobile?

This also works and doesn't use the "mouse over object", although it does "miss clicks" if done too quickly. I will use this for now.

    Thank you.

You shouldn't have any problem on mobile.
I specifically use the flags and this configuration for mobile devices

Yes, it misses the fast clicks, but this is the solution that I made up to not have multiple clicks and simulate a "on mouse up" event.
You can try to tweak it to match your own behavior expectations.
Though, I can't figure out an other way without the Groups.
Maybe some Fusion pros will give you a better way.
