    Physics collision not working properly

    i am using the physics collision (havn't used it before)

    i hav a red object that falls down the screen & 2 identically set up square objects below it ( one pink & the other blue )
    the falling red object goes thru the pink square & stops on the blue one.

    my question is why doesn't it stop on the pink square, seeing as both squares r set up the same.
    i want it to stop on the pink square as well. does anyone hav any idea wat is happening here? am i missing something?
    i hav included an example so u can see wat is going on.

    any help wud be greatly appreciated

    Interesting -- Its due to having the objects set to Platform Background
    You need to set them to obstacle and then run the test to collide with a backdrop but its something that needs to be looked into sometime.

    i don't see an "obstacle" setting in the physics properties, did u mean "static movement" setting?

    also i still cant get the red object to stop wen it hits the pink one no matter wat i change.

    any chance of anyone fixing my example & uploading it?

    I switched out your events for the Collides with the background event, and set the blocks to Obstacle.
